Anna was always interested in learning about ecology and evolution after her biology 10 teacher taught her the intricacies of the food web. She graduated from UBC with a BSc. in biology in 2018. After graduating, she was not sure what she wanted to do with her degree and was considering becoming a massage therapist. However, after her cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, her interest in animal physiology and care was sparked. She is looking to become a veterinary technician in hopes to work at  an animal sanctuary or a zoo, and maybe a licensed veterinary if the opportunity arises.
